As most people know, in 12 hours, the rally is going to happen. As a Malaysian, I fear the worst. I hope no one gets hurt..and when I say no one means any one who supports and is against the Bersih 2.0 campaign.
Let it be a peaceful one and certainly hope that no one would do anything to incite nor provoke any kind of provocation that could lead to the destruction to the unity of the people.
I have always believed that Malaysia is a good country where in the eyes of the world, it is a country where people of different races, religions, beliefs live together in peace. It is sad that this is happening and I'm still dumbfounded with all sorts of things I see being posted over the web. It really breaks my heart.
I'm neither anti Bersih 2.0 nor the Government. You see, we gain nothing from fighting only misery...there are too many things that are debatable on this issue. I can't share my thoughts on this...it's too overwhelming!
I'll tell you how I feel...I'm scared, I'm worried sick. My God! What are the consequences? How will this end? Will there be war? Will I be able to go to work? I can't sleep thinking about the future or how bad the impact will be! This is not how I pictured Malaysia when I was a kid. Even as a child, I always think that I am very lucky to born and bred in Malaysia because every essay written by school children on Malaysia always starts with "Malaysia is a multiracial country where its people live in harmony..." This is not the "harmony" I have pictured.
I just hope...I really hope, nothing bad would happen.
