Q: What's the difference?
A: One is a noun and the later is a verb.
Anyways, let me tell you about Advice. The word Advice itself is good and helpful, not forgetting a source of encouragement or motivation or guidance or whatever words that you could find fit to describe Advice. So, some people like Advice when it is a good one especially when it brings up one's spirit so that they are able to continue to face hardships in their already struggled depressing life.
You see...Advice in nature is good but Advise is something that a human had intentionally improvised...
Has it occur to you that.. whenever we get a human to get involved in giving Advise...Advice itself sounds...depressing? a pain in the ear? Something that we do not want to hear anymore because it is already meaningless?
Q: What was the purpose of an Advice in the first place anyway?
A: Let me see, Ahh..Yes! To tell you what is good and what is bad.
Q: Do you know what is happening now?
A: Advice is now all about...nagging instead of advising...
Anyways, it's hard to find parents who can really give a very good advice and practical at the same time. I don't know about the rest of you...I think parents nowadays are more demanding that's why they nag more than giving proper advice. I guess the word "impression" has overtook "expression". Poor kids...Having parents to nag at them telling them they should do this in order to be that.
Lastly...a lot to say actually...but it's already late and I'm way past my bedtime...and my eyes are blur...and suffering from heartburn right now...so I have to rest. We'll talk about Advising vs Nagging in the next entry. Adios!
