"The one who reaches me first will follow me home!" And so, she starts running and the little ones start chasing her. Eventually, one reaches her and she carries it and pats it on the head lovingly.
"I'll buy you." she says. "Oh, this fella will be slightly bigger than the average Shih Tsu." The pet shop owner says. "Really? I like him. He looks smart." As she presses its belly against her chest like any mother would carry a baby.
"Let's get you some puppy food, puppy milk, bowl for your food and water, doggie house and some chew toys for you." She lowered her body and puts the puppy on its feet and watches the puppy runs excitedly towards its siblings. They jump up and down, roll here and there. She watches from a distance while browsing for the puppy's necessities. The puppies look like a bunch of fur balls moving, bouncing. "How adorable..." She smiles as she thinks to herself.
She lays the things on the counter one by one and says, "Michael, surely I'm allowed to be given more discounts. This is a lot, you know?" "Aiyah! Can! Can! Can! No problem! "The pup is 550, I'll give you 500. The rest would be...umm.." Tick..tack.tick..tick..tap..tap..and finally he says, "Okay, the total is 720. I give you this collar and leash free of charge since you're regular here and discounts for the dry food." "Thank you, Michael. Is there anything else that I should add? In case, if I missed anything." "Okay, wait. Let me check ahh...arr...you forgot the shampoo la dey." he smirks as he says it. "And the pup is already vaccinated." "Aduh! I totally forgot about the shampoo!" He goes to the rack and picks a puppy shampoo and puts it in the plastic bag. "Here, total now is 740 after discount for the shampoo." "Thanks."
She carries the plastic bags as one of the employees carries the doggie house to the car. Then, she goes to the back of the shop, pats the Golden Retriever puppies, the 8-month-old rottweiler named Max, Michael's Chihuahuas, and of course the Shih Tsus. "Come now, puppy." She calls out to the puppy. It excites her when the puppy she picks runs to her. She goes down to her knee on the floor and carries the puppy as it jumps up to her. Before they leave, "Say bye bye to Michael and your brother and sisters."
"You'll love it there. I will care for you. And definitely spoil you." She whispers into the puppy's ear as they walk to the car. She puts his face against hers, gives it a kiss before putting him in the doggie house at the back seat of the car and jumps to the driver's seat. She looks at the rear view mirror and says, "Piku, let's go home."
